- The best selection of apartments is available 30-45 days before you want to move-in.

- We focus on Chicago's north lakefront and downtown communities.

- What's the deal with dogs?
- Most landlords do not take dogs. The landlords that do take dogs generally have a weight/breed restriction and require an additional deposit or pet rent.

- Do you have short term or furnished apartments?
- All of our apartments are unfurnished rentals that require a 12 month lease.

- Do I need to make an appointment?
- It is highly recommended. We want to be prepared, in order to show you the best places and make the most efficient use of your time.

- How much time should I plan on for our appointment?
- Because we line up the best apartments that we have in your price range, appointments generally run 1 to 3 hours.

- What should I bring with me?
- Generally, a checkbook is all you need to take an apartment off the market. If you have just accepted a job and have an offer letter, or are a student that is relying on loans as income, bring your offer letter or student loan documents. The more you have, the faster the application process goes.

- What does it take to rent an apartment?
- There are three basic things you need:
I. Employment
II. Credit
III. Tenancy
If any of the above 3 things are not well established a co-signer may be required.

- After I complete an application, how long does it take to be approved for my new apartment?
- The process is pretty quick and generally takes only a day or two. Occasionally, issues arise and it takes a little longer.

- How much is the security deposit?
- In most cases, it will be one month's rent that is refundable, with interest, at the end of your lease. Some management companies waive the security deposit and instead opt for a non-refundable move in fee, generally of a few hundred dollars. If you have pets, these fees may vary.

- Do I need renter's insurance?
- Like homeowners, auto and health insurance, renters insurance is highly recommended.
